AI JobFit (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides resume optimization and job-matching software and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use and share it, the legal bases for processing under applicable law, how long we retain data, and the choices and rights available to you. This policy applies to users of the Service, including job seekers and career coaches.

1. Jurisdiction and Controller

AI JobFit operates under the laws of India. The company is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. If you are located outside India, data may be transferred to and processed in India and other countries. See "International Transfers" below.

Information you submit when creating an account or using the Service, including name, email address, profile details, billing and payment information, resume and CV content, job descriptions you upload, and messages you send to other users or to support.

  • To analyze and deliver resume and job-match recommendations;

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on various lawful bases for processing personal data including: (a) performance of a contract (to provide the Service), (b) your consent (where you grant it), (c) legitimate interests (to improve and secure the Service), and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain data for the following periods unless a longer retention is required by law:

  • Account information: retained while your account is active and for 2 years after account deletion to allow recovery and fulfill legal obligations.
  • Uploaded resumes, job descriptions and user content:retained until you delete them and for up to 2 years thereafter for backup and legal defense purposes.
  • Payment and transaction records: retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting requirements.
  • Analytics, logs and aggregated data: retained for up to 26 months and then aggregated or deleted.
  • Backups: retained up to 90 days in encrypted form.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Service, analyze usage, and serve personalized content. You can control cookies through your browser settings and any cookie preference center presented on the Service.

12. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at info@apexinnovate.com so we can delete it.
